1984
The first time I shot a Ruger PC Carbine was just outside of Phoenix, in the desert, with my friend and his two sons. I instantly fell in love with the precision, recoil, and feel of a full sized carbine. Just loved it. I swore at that point I was going to get one of my own. Throw on top of that the enticing look of the PPSh-41, and I was sold.
I wanted to thank my friend with a stock he’d really love to roll around the desert with, and so I created the model 1984.
I mixed it up with the 1984 and decided to try out mahogany instead of walnut. I heard the wood is about the same hardness and is similar to work with, and I’m always wanting to try something new.
If you haven’t read 1984 and you enjoy a firearm or two… dedicate yourself to reading that before the week is over.
I carved these out the letters and numbers with a Dremel and stained them with a light gray.
I think my next version I’ll extend the magwell to match right up with the new drum mag.
